Indie songstress and former Yiddish Book Center intern, Clare Burson performs her Six Points project, Silver & Ash, an original concert which imagines Burson’s maternal grandmother’s life in Europe from before her birth in 1919 to her escape from Germany in 1938. The music also explores Burson’s own struggles with rupture, silence, guilt, empathy, and continuity and have garnered praise from the likes of NPR, The New York Times, and Billboard magazine.
